I work for a welding supply company so we carry oxygen and propane to the scrap yards. I just picked up a explorer 8.8 with 3:73 gears for 20 bucks and a grill for five dollars! woohoo!

To top things and make it better, ups just showed up with my new luk clutch!

Is that a open or L/S carrier I believe all 8.8 explorer were 31 spline. If L/S now would be the time to install new clutches and seals.

Only down side to getting a L/S is that you are sick with that and can't put anything else in the diff. But for that price, you can't go wrong.
