Do you mean a Mazda Navajo? $400 isn't a bad price for an engine, trans and an axle. Can you get your money back by parting the rest out? Probably, but is it worth the time and effort? You could probably get $100 if you scrap it or $200 if you sell it to pick n' pull.

haha yea mazda lol my bad and i know its not a bad price cause it puts my truck bk on the road and me havein 4wheel drive again just trying to figure a way to get it into my fiances and hopefully get some money back for it

hey guys i have an option to buy a 94 ford navo or whatever it is it has a 4.0 5 speed and 8.8 don't know much more guy wants 400 for it but i cant do it unless i make my money back im taking motor tranny and rear axle most likely unless i could get the right price for it im wondering if you guys think there would be enough parts to make 300 bucks back?

if the 8.8 has 4:10 gears (which it might due to the fact that its a 5 speed, probably a "sport") im interested. as far as the rest, you can sure as shit make back 300 on a parts truck like that. get it.


might be down for a cow mountain trip IF i get my front end done. the goal is before new years but ive yet to order my last parts. (****in camburg...)

hey morg no offense but cow in the winter is ****ing gnar, it turns into just slimy mud, you wont be able to go almost anywhere if it has rained recently. they even shut down the road into cow for a few days after it rains cause its so sketchy...

I will be selling my 8.8 with 4.10 and limited slip soon, as soon as I do the SAS I have no use for it you gonna buy my tires or what? I think he said he wanted the axle, tranny and motor then part the rest out.

if your axle had an open carrier id be all over it.. just so i can throw a lunchbox locker in and not worry about l/s clutches going out. also, ive got one 8.8 with 3.08s and a spool stored at my buddys. paid $50 for it. ive got an offer for $50 for the gears and $40 for the spool. i want those tires but gotta find a buyer for mine first..

as far as cm goes i can understand that itd get sketch up there after the rain. especially the drive up.. fuuck that.

yeah and the drive in from lake county side often leads to rigs sinking in mud pits that are supposed to be roads. honestly cow is bad news in the winter, I think I went up twice with my truck once I had my km2s and holy shit that was gnarly, not just the road but everything.

well Ive already got a use for the axle it might go in the truck for now just gotta come up with a wielder to flip spring perches but i am going to get the the Mazda on sat my buddies picking it up for me i am gonna be in red bluff getting my other rear end lol but if there is any little things any of you guys need let me know ill have a shit load of spare parts im sure

lol I have been doing soooooo much of that. I am still not working, and havent been sleeping much so I am going on basically all the 4x4 sites I can find and reading up on lots and lots of SAS stuff. I have probably read through a few hundred threads. its funny every once in a while I will see where one of the nor cal guys chime in hahahaha

oh and ill probably do a build thread on mine but idk if I will do one on here till its done... too many people clogging up the forums with meaningless posts, I get it but for guys like me doing research it takes forever to wade through it all.

It needs some members to carry it down to California thru Oregon...

Maybe you guys can make some connections with the Oregon members to keep it moving once it gets to them....
