DG, your is street truck material. All I every see is you driving her 100 miles a day. I will say you did build alot of it from stuff you had laying around.

I hope somebody gets what I mean by redneck RBV...guess I'll put more detail on that later.

Thats a great idea, it gives the jist of why its redneck and whatnot.

I'll tell you what is original on my truck since its a shorter list...

The cab shell, windshield and frame.

The rest is from other rangers, other manufactures and/or from full size trucks. All pieced together correctly or in a way to made the truck my own and work for my daily life and also to keep it on the road.

honestly I'd rather see a DD truck of the month.. There are a lot of nice capable DD/WW trucks on here that ain't off-road built enough to win ORTOTM

Throw on a couple whip antenneas, questionable lift(s), trucknutz and manifold back straightpipes that are flopping in the breeze and you have what I picture when I hear the term "redneck truck"

Eh, truck nuts and shoddy craftsmanship belongs in the Ghetto fab section over on pirate, or not on the road at all.

To be honest, a DD of the month would be a little lame. I know we all love our RBVs, but I feel those winners of both street and offroad really deserve awards for the enormous amount of changes their rigs undergo.

It's like in kids sports. Should we really give awards to everyone? or just the winners? Sure, maybe a participation award, but really? An award for just having a truck that is... driven every day?

I don't think a redneck truck is really deserving of an actual award either. Maybe it's own build thread where people can comment and laugh with/at the owner, but I don't know about it being splayed across the top of the page with the other two awards.

Not so into this redneck crap since I see enough of this crap everyday around here and want to toss a grenade at the pos truck for not being road worthy with missing headlights, cracked glass or no windshield and bald or near flat tires and smoking so bad and running so bad and leaking gas and oil all over the place.....lol. I really do miss our Florida yearly inspections...it used to keep crap vehicles off the road.....

DD of the month would be nice. My Cummins Explorer wont really fit into either existing class, But it will be a nice DD.

Most Hacked Up, Thrown Together With Whatever Junk You Have Lying Around, Redneck, $4.73 Budget Sh!tbox doesnt deserve an award. It deserves to be towed to a junkyard and crushed. You want an award, build something nice.
