i have a 1991 explorer the radius arm bushings are toast, when i hit the brakes the front end pops, ive looked through my books to find out the easiest way to replace looks the easiest is removing the crossover there held in. any ideas would be appreciated
thanks

Yup, easiest was to remove my crossmember. Grind off rivets, replace them with grade 8 bolts.

ok so i have a 92 and it pops when i hit bumps and hit the brakes would that be my ra bushings or ball joints?

Most likely radius arm bushing. You can usually tell if they're bad just by looking at them. This is what mine looked like before replacing them. Note the big chunk missing:

Could also be a bad shock.
