We're the studs that stick out the bottom of the spring pack the same diameter as the original springs? You might need to replace that stud/bolt with the one from the original spring pack. If its 1/4" smaller each side then the whole axel might be cockeyed which is causing the truck to dog leg. If nothin else loosen up the U-bolts and push the axel back until it's even and retighten the U-bolts. If that doesn't correct it try loosening the spring and shackle bolts a lil bit then bounce on your bumper to see if it will make the truck settle and retighten the bolts.

the pins have been repalced with new ones. ill loosen it all up and recheck everything.

but im pretty sure the pins are too small, the old ones were snug in there and these are way more lose. anyone know what size pins to get?

im down for whatever. how is poker flat in a vehicle? I have only been out there on a bike.

I have no idea, I've never been up there. It's rated as a moderate trail because of the steep, narrow decent into and climb out of the canyon. Nothing technical.

Same with Corral Hollow, moderate rating, steep and rocky for the first mile and a half then easy for the rest of the trail.

My dad gave me a book back when I was still runnin stock that has a bunch of easy trails, like the trail out to Bowman lake. It's called Sierra Nevada Byways.
We could go check some of those trails out too if you guys want something easier.

Just use the pins from your old springs. Also make sure the pins aren't off set (front to rear). Check the bushings too, if the bushings are toast the spring could walk around a little and could cause the dog tracking.

At least you're working. And on that note, I've been talking to some of my old coworkers, they say they'd be surprised if the doors are still open on the shop next week. Glad I got out of there when I did, even if it wasn't on my terms.

Hey, do you still have that Honda Odyssey? I went to RPM :3gears:today, and now I have the itch for some off road shenanigans.:icon_twisted:
