poping the hood with a billet grille?

You open the hood with the hood relace latch inside the cab and the hood pops up a bit and you pull the mecanisam under the hood for the release. What is so hard about that? :icon_confused:

Here is the front end on my 99 Ranger. I have a custom blacked out metal mesh screen I made back in 2000 for my Ranger. I have no trouble getting my hood to open. So I am confused about your question:

poping the hood with a billet grille?

Hey Stray.... The safety release is behind the grille on genIIs.

The billet grille on my Explorer came with a bolt on extension for the release. If it doesnt, keep a screwdriver in the truck to reach through the grille.

Still confused as why he asked this. He is buying it and he does not ask the place he is buying it from? I would think he needs to ask the seller before he buys it then. I see those billet grills on a lot of different year Rangers and
S-10s and other trucks, new and later models.

If I were a bettin' man, my money would be on TRS knowing more then Watomi Racing. :D But, Yes he should contact the seller.

Yeah Sno, I'd put my money on the good people here at TRS too. There are always people willing to share their experiences here. Even you do on occasion Stray.

I guess since I have owned a few different years of BII's and Rangers that they all seem the same with me when I popped the hood I just don't realize it until somebody pointed it out to me.....lol
