Snow Plow Bumper?

well... my mom wont let me drive my truck unless i have a grill guard that can take a few deer to it... well... im an aspiring fabricator and im thinking of taking a plain and simple older style snow plow stripped of all the snow plow movement equipment it originally had... and putting it on, pretty much just like the bumper is... anybody see any problems other than air flow which im going to cut holes in the plow to remedy anyway... thanks
