daily doubler build

I also got a call from Pewe tonight. I made it into the 'Dirty Dozen' for the UA! I'll get another call in May to let me know if I made the final cut.

That's awesome. Couldnt imagine how excited you must be.
I still haven't seen wahlstrom's UA video yet. I have the DVD but just need to make time to see it.

It's more Péwé talking than anything else. Although you do see Andrew make a river his bitch and get airborne

I did see the one from last year though. My wife got me the last three years of UA for Christmas.
Yeah, I don't watch much TV.

Watch them! I've got 2005 through 2011. I watch 'em all the time. They're put together really well.

I've seen 2011, the one with the F150. I just need to find time to watch them.
On the days I work, I have maybe 3 hours in the evening. With kids and a dvr full of my shows to watch, I spend most of those 3 hours with my wife and kids. This is why it takes me so long to finish a project on my truck.

Ill have plenty of time to watch them when I retire. Lol

Understandable. When you do get the chance, I'm sure you'll enjoy them.

Picked up the material after work today. I hope to get a decent start on Friday (no work for Good Friday). Sat and Sun will be full of family time for Easter.

The round tube and flat strap is on the other side of the rectangle.

It's funny Bray, your truck is the same as mine was... minty cab, good front clip.... mangled box. Should be a good fit on UA!

My heim on my trac bar FINALLY got sloppy, so I replaced that this weekend. Reworked my trac bar a bit so everything is kosher again. New joint, steering wheel is centered, etc. No pics though.

Also got a good start on the sliders.

Set up my on site workstation so I could pull dims as needed.

Started with the raw material:

Cut the rectangle to length:

Bent up the wings:

And cut them to fit:

I'll keep plugging away at them this week. I'll have the main slider portion done by Friday, then I'll dive into the slider-to-frame supports this weekend.

i REALLY need to invest in a setup like that. looks like it makes life sooo much easier. only issue is there is no rreal metal supply shop around here.
