Hail + ranger = BAD.

So apparently we got hail coming and i locked myself out of my truck ( different door locks) so i can't pull it in! D: i hope we either don't get hail, or it misses my house...( or just my truck)

Pop the locks with a coat hanger? Call AAA? Get a locksmith? All cheaper than repairing body damage from hail.

No money, no insurance it's raining out pretty bad , so thanks, but no thanks. as long as the windows aren't broken and nothing is dented REALLY bad i'll be happy. apparently the same storm caused tornadoes less than an hour ago. i hate tornadoes with a passion.

i bought it like that, just got it less then a month ago. they lost the key for the truck so i guess they just bought a new ignition and just left it unlocked all the time. everyone knows you don't mess with a rednecks truck!

you can open the door with a screwdriver, lift up the handle and there is a hole closer to the key hole next to the hinge. Stick a long screwdriver and lift up the locking ecumenism. A member posted a how to vid a while back. I think it was CHKNFKR

It is, somebody got banned for posting about it a couple years ago iirc.

Either way, give your local PD a call. They typically unlock doors for free.

I've had them do it for me plenty of times.

my dad had an auto shop and we got the stuff to do it. i didn't even think of that until now. luckily no hail and no tornado...passed by me! i feel lucky. and i couldn't jack the rear end up because it was on soft wet ground. the movable jack woulda just sank.

That sucks. I had a 20 year old car pummeled by hail a few years ago. - $4.5k in damage. Surprised they didn't total it.
