those are some of the strangest manifolds I have ever seen.

Robert

Those are some odd looking exhaust manifolds !?!

Robert

You said that back on page 48, 3rd post from the bottom :icon_rofl:

Odd yes, functional, thats all Im looking for. I wonder if there is a way to "improve" them.

that's what happens when your mind is going and can't remember anything.

now what website was I on ?!?!

Robert

Yes i do believe that oil bypass adaptor will not work very well at all, as you may see here.

I need to start a WTB thread. I have in my sig. saying that I am loking for 302 swap parts. I know people, like you have just said, have to have stuff just laying around that could bring in some money.

Good news is, it has a life time warrenty.

:annoyed::annoyed:Well for the last few weeks what I hope wasnt happening is happening...my clutch is slipping on me, and it only has 12,000ish miles on it and only 2 years old. Only slips when I get on it in 2nd, 3rd and 4th but not in 1st but has been getting worse fast:annoyed::sad: I hope its only the trans. seperating from the bellhousing that is causing the problem (bolts have backed out that hold them together) but that would make it so the clutch doesnt enguage and it doesnt take much of a push on the pedal to disenguage the clutch so I think the clutch friction plate is going out but not sure though. :icon_confused:

I wish the weather would get better faster, get this v8 swap done.

What makes it all worse is my work has me working noon time when I would normaly work on my truck:annoyed: and is going to make everything worse since I use to close but for the next couple of weeks, I wont be.

Got the FEAD drive stuff off until I got to the harmonic dampner and my puller for that has been misplaced so fstopped therre and flipped the engine over and got the oil pan off. Looked at the cylinder walls and they all look good, now scoring, scratches, etc... Somebody has been in the engine before and the oil pan gasket was over tightened due to around some of the bolts, the gasket was splitting.

Also when I flipped her over, it did spill what blood it had and the antifreeze was green, didnt have rust or vbrown in it so that was good to see...but not on the garage floor. I need to get a manual for the engine still so that there wont be any guessing on things, not that I have done any so far.

Just bought a starter off rockauto. No core charge and close out, $30 cheaper then autozone that wants a core.

A few friends want me to go to flordia with them but I told them that with my enigne swap going on and other thing, have no clue if I will be able to or not...and they plan on going in 5 months.

Found out why the clutch isnt working right...

Need I say more. Taking the trans out right now.

Wow, looks a lot cleaner than I would have expected it to from what I can see in the pics.

Put the whole thing in 2 years ago when I did the engine swap, so shouldnt be that dirty, but it is oily and has dirt everywhere.

Right now I just need to unbolt the slave, the resivor and pull the clip for the pedal and i should be good. BFH helped me get the crossmember out.

Well after 12 hours got it done, got 100ft from the house and the rear output ujoint bolts on the yoke snapped, one went and so dod 2 others so now I need a rear yoke for a BW1350 ASAP. So now Im driving in FWD until then.

send me a pic of the yoke you need, i might have one laying in the garage
