dude morgan could you afford to drive your truck over 4k a month? they might give you enough for gas, but that doesnt include maintenance and shit. hell I would go through tires every 6 months, plus oil changes every 3ish weeks. my truck would die... most of the guys take their 6 days to drive home for a few days then back out to the job. so I would work for 8 days drive home have 2 days off then take another 2 days to drive back. fuuuuuuuuuuuuck that.

damn youre right.. thats bs, my dad does a shit ton of driving for his job, and they drop for gas and a little more for repairs.

yeah they pay 35 cents a mile, i mean it is enough for gas I guess, but im not paid for my drive time or anything else either... thats just bull shit to me.

on another note, took my air intake and throttle body off today to clean them, they definitely were dirty as all hell. hopefully it will start running better now cause it has been missing and backing lately... also put some fuel additive in, see if I cant get her running good again...

a lot of guys dredge the bottoms, you can do it, and as to how far up it goes from where we were shooting not all that much further, just maybe a half mile or so before it pinches off. there are a few different places you can go out there tho. just dont go below hells gates which is where the creek goes through a cliff that makes it so you have to drive up around the hill side.

How far down is Hells gates?

We are planning on going out Saturday. Just gonna dick around in the river bottoms a little, shoot some guns, do a little panning, maybe run up to bowman and do a little fishing.

nope cleaned my current one, took my shit all apart at my dads today, compression test and spark plug wire test, turnes out one of my spark plugs insulators broke, causing the plug to ground out on the block and kill the whole motor randomly, thats why my truck started bucking and missing like crazy. put a new plug in and it runs like a top again! plus I cleaned my IAC, MAF intake, K&N, and my throttle body. runs sooooooo good now, im so pumped!just need new shocks up front now.

so I got back from king of the hammers last night at like 11ish, our rape van broke down like 3 times, and got an average MPG of 7... 6 guys each put in 100 bucks in gas to get down and back lol. it was pretty fun, coulda been better, but saw a lot of roll overs and break downs. probably wont ever go back just because of the dust levels...

the river bottoms sound good but Im so damn broke. I think at the end of the month a few of us are gonna do prairie city since bryce is moving to guam soon.
