Early 2.3?

Wouldn't have one for a distributor version by chance?:dunno:

I got thatt one from motor alldata, its library used by tecnicians, wich right now I dont have access to be ause im not in college until jan 30, but ill try to get u one

There is no need to set the timing for the distributor by marks, as you can reposition the distributor rotor to satisfy timing needs. That said, I would have the rotor pointing to the #1 plug wire with the engine at TDC. That means the keyway for the crankshaft pulley is at the 12:00 position. That should be close enough to get the engine started to set the timing using a timing light.

Point taken

My concern is with the cam timing when mark is lined up with inner cover it seems to vary either before or after the center mark? Iv been told you can use a piece of string run it from the center of the cam bolt to the center of the aux shaft bolt to get cam in time.Just wanted to see a clear factory diagram of it.:dunno:

Sorry to get back this late i was in a coma, for the past 10 moths or so, other than that i couldn find one for distributor, it shows the same one
