sway bar removal

did anyone notice a big difference in road manners when they took off their sway bar? i was thinking of taking mine off to get more suspension travel.

if i just remove the links when i go wheelin do you think the main bar will interfere with anything with the added articulation?

Nope. You only have to remove one link actually.

That would be better too so that the swap bar doesn try to start swinging around.

if u are gonna take the sway bar links out ,u should take the whole sway bar out.the sway bar adds stability and without it you will have allot more roll around the corners.if u go offroadng allot it is worth it but if u only go once and a while its not worth it imo

i got wheeling every sunday, but its a daily driver and i do some highway. so i guess ima have to pull it off and see how it feels

yea i would pull it off and see how it feels and if u take off jus the links then take off both sides .dont just take off one.it will hit stuff and bind

No, a sway bar works by not letting the 2 sides move in opposite directions, when you remove one link the the whole bar will travel with the side its still hooked to, the other side is not hooked to anything so it can't limit travel.

Depend on how much lift id say, the higher center of gravity really makes the difference with body roll while road driving. If it stock or near stock you wont feel much difference at all

I pulled mine front and back and its my daily driver. there's a bit more body roll but its not that bad. and it def gives you more articulation

you should be good as long as you dont try and jump anything cause when i took my sway bar off my coil fell out of the bucket cause the arm dropped too low... no real damage tho just leaves you stumped on how to get it back home

i have a 6'' susp...lift took mine off and cant lell the diffrence, can on the trail but not on the street, mine is also a daily driver. [ TOSS IT AND DONT LOOK BACK!!!!! ]
