off road bumpers

what would be a good place to get one then? im looking for one two and dont have access to the equipment to make one

overpriced

MMMMMM may have to disagree with you there Bb. If its built right and it bolts right on then 500 is not too bad for the person who dont have the skills, place or equip. to make their own. Personally I dont like the size up front as far as top to bottom, its more look at me than usefull. Also the approach angle part on the bottom serves as an anchor when getting out in reverse. Even with that I reckon to Joe wheeler 500 is fair, but may I add it should be advertised without lights, fairlead and D-rings and powder coating should be standard.

You could find a local welder to build you one for cheaper that is better designed

If I were you, i'd go and get the 90 amp flux welder from harbor freight, and lay down some welds on some old metal till u get good, then go get sheet metal and build yourself one for about $300 all together and have it custom to your needs and style!:icon_welder:

that is bulky and ugly. but very cheap for a custom bumper. most fab shops would charge around 1000 to build a bumper for a ranger. but that money would get you a badass beefy bumper that is what ever design you want.
i built mine for around 225 in materials. and I'm pretty sure most people on here remember it, on the black b3000

if you are near the pac north west the ONLY place is STAINLESS BRAIN outside of Tacoma (endoverend47 nov '11 STOM) DID MY BUMPERS HIMSELF and they are awesome, I hit stuff all the time with impunity

That's a sweet set-up there, what did you give for that?

1600 front and rear -

You might try an off road shop. It probably wouldnt be cheap though for them to build you one.
