Seems like some good deals. Too bad everything useable on either site is for 16.5" rims.

Just a brief update.

I ran the Tough Mudder at the Badlands in Indiana on the 19th with a buddy of mine. His girlfriend got a few pics of us. He wearing the GoPro, I've got the skull cap.

We did a lot of army crawling through mud under barbed wire. Lots of walls to climb. Culverts to crawl through, etc. She only saw a couple of the obstacles. Here's some pics of what she saw.

And if you finish, you get an orange Tough Mudder headband.

That's proof we finished, and here's proof we're badasses. This is a portion of an email I received a few days after the run.

As far as wheeling goes, I'm meeting up with Railman and the Kentucky crew at the Badlands tomorrow for the Toys for Tots run. I'm sure there will be pics to post on Sunday.

Met up with the Kentucky crew at the Badlands today. Didn't get to wheel with them a whole lot, but we tooled around for a bit in the afternoon. I'm sure Railman has a few more pics. These are just a few poser shots that I got.

I found a GNARLY rock section that I haven't found before. It was rough.

This is at full droop. Actually using my limit strap.

Then after that big rock at my passenger side, I was out.

End of the day, ready to head back to the parking lot to put my doors on.

Damage report: Popped taillight. Got into the rear half of my passenger side cab which continued into the bed. Bent my passenger side slider up - rubs my full size doors (I'm going to have to do something about this). Caught my passenger front quarter which pushed it in and now it interferes with my full size doors - gonna have to fix that too.

I'm almost to the point of not caring about the body. It's getting pretty damn beat up.

Keep it so that you can run full doors, and don't blow out the glass (especially the windsheild), the hell with the rest. Its a very slippery slope once you cross the line of 'screw the body'. Look at Kyle for a reference

I thought it was kinda cheesy at first too, but it's the real deal. I saw more guys cramped up than I could count, saw a guy pull his shoulder out trying to get over an obstacle, etc. It was intense.

I put it in this thread because it's "offroad" related and it was held at the Badlands, which is a park I go to ALL the time - like yesterday. haha

I'll wheel like normal, and if I happen to push the bedside in I'll see if I can back out of it rather than push through it. That's the point I'm at now. When I start pushing through it, then it'll be game over. lol

If you come into the quarry normally on that open road, you hang a left. Like 70* from that road you came in on, on the far side of the quarry. The outer rim if you will. If you turn to go up the famous "stair step" you've turned too far.

It just sheet metal. You just need to invest in more tube.
