Given your talent for understatement I'm gonna say "minor discrepancy" means half of it's not there and the other half is off by a few inches.
a few inches would mean scrapping the project.
an eigth here and there can cause issues down the road...it gets into what's known as 'cumulative error'.
you measure an assembly off something that's out a bit,then the next assembly off that one,and pretty soon you're wondering why the door won't close.
the problem here was my organic style of chassis design.by adding mechanical components,then building frame around them,then adding more stuff it gets harder to measure as you go.i don't want to have a twist in the frame or anything,so i figure this is the best time to check it out.
