Josh40601's Build Thread. (D-ranged)

I guess for a show truck DD type thing with the other plans you have... I'm kinda diggin them. Would look a lot better with 35's but... Do what ya do

oh, these rubber bands won't last brother.... I want to use them through this winter, then they will be on Craigslist first thing. Just gotta save up the funds for some real tires.

I will be going with 35x20's. I am just not sure what brand i will go with yet. Probably whatever one is giving the best deal at the time! lol.

But yes, I WILL BE PUTTING BIGGER TIRES ON THIS SPRING

Been there done that, same tire too....

Around here 37's on 20's are a dime a dozen as every lifted diesel runs them, can get a 50% set for $5-600.

I don't know if I would waste my time with that company or not, but I feel they are responsible for that...Like the rims, hate the fact you ended up on side the road, but at least you didn't have any damage from it. Like Andrew said, I'd consider running a 37 over 35 just cause of availability. I know Toyo's are run on the road a lot and seem to have good longevity, as does KM2's...BTW, what size are those rubber bands?? The ST has a set of 20" rims awaiting some rubber....

Did the adapter get messed up?, and can you just replace the studs in them to the right ones??

Truck looks good with those rims.

found out after removing the adapter plate that the studs are metric. I used standard Ford lugnuts. The weight of the rim and tire ripped the lug nuts off. All 6 studs were removed, and i put a whole new set of studs in the plate, and replaced all the lugnuts on the truck with the correct ones.

These tires are 305/50/20s

37s are too big for the gear ratio. I'm not going through that whole mess again. I'll run the bands until after winter, then with income taxes, i will buy a new set of tires. I dunno what, but likely with something that gets good mileage, looks good, and doesn't break the bank. I don't need anything with offroad performance anymore.

doubler with 20's. That's how i roll. hahaha.

Drove the ranger today. Wheel didn't fall off!!!!! :yahoo:

Just found out today that D made it onto the front cover of Petersen's.

I'm pretty stoked! :yahoo:

My issue hasn't came in yet, so i have no idea what all they put in there. I have only see the picture of the cover

Your on the cover, and the same pic inside with all the specs. Congrats!
