This is a killer deal on 4.10's. I'm on CJ Pony Parts' list, and they sent this one to me today. I know a lot of you have talked about doing 4.10's - and this is a sweet deal at 135 bucks, shipped.

It is TODAY ONLY though. Hopefully it can help someone out.

EDIT: Sorry for parking it here in General Discussions, but since it's one day, I thought it would need more attention.

Good deal, but that does not include the install kit you also need...too bad!!

LOL. Straycat, I think you might be the reason the saying "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth" was invented.

Haaa haaaa, lol. I know, but that install kit can get really costly and if you can't install it yourself....OMG!! That gets costly. Here in my area just to swap out a front or rear it is right $500 total for parts and labor. If you want both done....double it and bend over and kiss that wallet goodbye!!! lol

$100 for a Ford install kit, whoopie doo.

Usually if you use Ford gears reusing the original shims in the original locations will keep you in spec, still gotta know how to check it and actually check it though for when that "usually" comes into play.

Not much is cheap to pay somebody do to your truck. Exhaust, tires, bodywork... it all adds up in a big hurry.

Retail price of the gears is 209 usd, so its still a good deal. or course ull need more $$ for the kit and installation.

I swapped 4.10 ford gears and reused the shims. it works great.

I got a motive gear install kit with bearings for $75 at AmericanMuscle.com. The gears were $140 but shipping wasnt included
