Yea, I've seen the ads.... very annoying.

I've also gotten redirected to an ad webpage when I've tried to click on threads sometimes for about the past 8 months. Very annoying, I even blacklisted the one ad company only to get nailed by another ad company. Everybody says that advertising on the web is cheap, but who actually reads the ads the pop up and annoy you anyway?

I was contacted by that company to test out their advertising program. I actually get contacted by quite a few companies to join ad programs due to our traffic (page views). The ads are suppose to show up under every photo, but they don't. I have them limited to only show ads under 25% of the photos.

I disabled them.

Sorry I didn't respond sooner. I've been swamped with helping Vanessa with her Ranger, building my Bronco II, and car shopping for my daughter who recently got her license. Ranger Dave alerted me to this.

Doesn't ranger-forum or one of the "others" just have the ads on nonpaid members??? I don't know if you wanna pick on unpaid people? But some forums do that.

So that's a no about free lifetime memberships???? Hahaha jk Jim. Keep up the great work on a great forum.

How about just to people who are not signed in? Maybe the software has an option to show ads to people who aren't logged in. I'm pretty sure on another site I'm on I get some different ad features depeding on whether I'm logged in.
