thats alot of money for a box! i got the one i have in my garage for $300. I know, its not snap-on, but its bearing slides and 14 guage. its works for my needs of a small do it yourself garage.
And a 300 box worked well for my needs at home as well. I only got rid of it because I found someone willing to give me $1500 for it towards one I needed for work and let me bring my slightly bigger work box home.
When you think about how much money I have invested in the contents of my tool box and the fact that I'm a professional technician who works and makes his living out of that tool box, $5500 isn't all that much for it.
I'd never spend that kind of money on one for the home garage.
