If only I had the money, I would definately buy this Bronco 2.

The owner said it needs a clutch soon, but it is in overall nice shape. He's asking $2800 and he will fix the clutch or $2400 as is. If anyone is interested PM me and I can give you a bit more information or I can ask the guy more questions.

Yes, I did. It has red/maroon interior and its a 5 speed. Super clean interior, but it did have a tear in the drivers side seat and the dash has seen some sun. I'm not sure of the miles. I just gave it a quick once over on my way home and I was on my bike. It looked to be rust free. It also has new paint because I noticed some runs in the paint. It also seems to have a slight lift of some kind because the tires are bigger than stock, maybe just shackles and coil spacers.

I agree that the price is high, but around here it's hard to come across any RBV that hasn't been flogged to death.

A clutch is 'simple' in the grand scheme of things, but its still alot of work, and you can expect a shop to charge $500-1000 for it to be done.

I REALLY lucked out on my repair for the explorer, and found a shop VERY experienced with 2wd M5Od powered trucks who charged me $425 to pull my trans, replace a shift fork, resurface the flywheel, install a new clutch (Provided by me, purchased for $125), and re install the trans. $200 of my $425 bill was for a RnR which is VERY hard to find from a shop that cheaply, 50 for the Flywheel being resurfaced, and 175 for the actual transmission repair I needed.

Fwiw adsm, my two hour clutch job was on my two wheel drive full size.

bout 8 years ago i had a 92 xploder auto i got good enough at swapping them in and out i got it down to 3 hrs, that was #5 in 6 weeks, all junkyard, my best clutch time was on my 94 xcab i have now was 3 hrs, but i replaced everthing including transfer case,went manual not bad for a fat out of shape old balding guy that is more at home on a couch than working on my truck but i can move when i have to well nite now

on a 20 year old detroit truck that has not been worked on in ten years it can take 2-4 hrs or 2-4 days to get all the shit you bust.....

When I worked in Texas, you could do a clutch in 2 hours. Here, just send it to the exhaust shop first and let them get the crossover off. Axle work can mean finding used axle shafts on the internet.

That's a helluva deal. I dont think I could pass that up and I am cheap as hell when it comes to repairs. Ill usually do it myself and end up with busted knuckles.
