project family wheeler. chop top 1 ton explorer.

I meant like a spare tire davit on military 5tons, hemtts, hets, etc... They've been doing it since the '50s and its not complicated at all or hard to do, even in oddball situations.

Bones has the right idea, make it a swing down (I think thats what Jon had in mind), and I would add a cheap $50, 500 lb winch dedicated to just lifting and lowering the tire carrier...

Yahtzee!

If you add a winch to raise and lower your spare tire, I will make fun of you. :thefinger:

Something like what Poison Spyder makes for the TJs?

Doesn't Bones have one on his B2?

I thought about that too. Guess you will have to hurry up so i can see yours :thefinger:

lol seriously, no fawking way im putting a winch on to lift a tire. you guys need to man up a little and im under 150lb's :thefinger:

i would like the swing out idea but thats even harder to put a spare in as its 3 foot off the ground. with the flip down you can pretty much just roll the tire up to it and its good.

if bray wouldnt make fun of me i do have a nice 12v actuator thats been sitting in the garage for years....nahhhh :D

Any more pics of this bronco im a sucker for older bronco's

i did some searching and with a good pump there are a few guys on pirate running both, but im not sure what im going to do.

the hydro boost has already been called if i dont end up using it.

here's what i have planned for my tire carrier, pretty close to this but staying inside the body instead of going to the outside.

if ya remember I sent you a pic last week of one of those carriers :thefinger::thefinger::thefinger:

if ya can ever get out for an hour or so you could check it out in person....

Really digging the pinch!

to me it looks like itd be perfect for a 1st gen ranger grille and lights....

i think it looks kick ass brother. I was really wondering what you were going to do, and i was hoping that you were not going with the round light style, although round lights with the old school bezels like on Copy Kat's B2 would look sick too.

They're growin on me. Looks better on a full screen too. haha. The square lights definitely fit the lines better than a round light would.

I figured it would lol.

And yea I'm alot happier with the square over round lights, those just kind of fell intO my lap so i thought I'd try. I might end up throwing some HID's in them for shits and giggles.

looking sharp. any other svo parts lying around? there's a couple 2.3t motors at my junkyard...Ive been considering swapping one in Rangebe and building it...
