Does this quilify for off road?

Hey the pictures aint the problem, I really like your truck. You could go with air or electric but that involves modifying the axle housing. Personally I would go with a lunchbox locker like the Powertrax Lock-Right or something like an Aussie.

Sweet thanks. Sounds good enough for me, cause I wouldn't really plan on doing too much off road, but just having a locker for snow and crap I'm sure is a lot better than the open.

i have a powertrax no-slip in my 8.8, i drove all last winter 2wd open, and all this winter 2wd locked.. (blown spiders winter 1, blown axles winter 2--and was too lazy to fix till it got warmer out) locker = big difference in the snow, and much more fun, sooooo easy to kick out the rear end with the locker....

if i had a strictly 2wd truck, i wouldnt drive without a locker

2wd anything out gunning a 4x4 bronco? was the bronco open diff, in 2wd, and running on 4 cylinders?



a locker will definatly help. it wont outperform a regular 4x4 "actually wheeling" i guess trail riding is subjective....but if you can do a whole trail in 2wd its a road a locked truck can shine in alot of situations, but it wont go where 4x4 is required. i know i can do most "trails" 2wd locked with like 35 in boggers....at least some aggressive and large tire.


my suggestion is a winch like the one i see in the ads of the front page, then a locked sploder rear and a jeep d30 front..actually a jeep 30 or 44 front....then later a locked sploder rear. just so you can see the real difference. in south east mi you can buy and setup for a d30 as long as it was already 410 for @ 3-500 bux if you stay leaf sprung...with a t case ect you should be able to stay under a grand easy.

It depends on the situation, when getting into something twisty/flexy a locked 2wd generally will do better than a 4x4 open in my experience but when ascending hills is when 4x4 is needed more.

New Gibson exhaust is noticeable in this one

I would love to take it off road, but it has enough trouble on road, I have no idea how I would do off road...

We think she's number 1 too!!

Haha thats what I always say to her when she does that to me.

You can even see where my rear tire spun getting onto that little hill... Guess i just got to go faster haha
