New Addition

Figured I'd update this finally. built a winch bumper and did a bunch of little things to it. I ran it straight piped after the cats for a bit then stole an old muffler off a Massey Ferguson tractor when we put the new one on. winch is wired inside the cab. last weekend i pulled the motor because i destroyed the drivers side motor mount wheeling. finally fixed the exhaust manifold that was held on with c clamps and the hacked up y pipe (previous owner not me!!)
I have 4.56 gears to put in sometime soon. i was given a new leaf spring to fix my broken one and skyjacker lift brackets. eventually ill go 4" lift with long arms and 35s
as of now im running 33" buckshots still, that shake like a mo fo over 40mph and a 3" body lift. they stuff pretty often but it hasnt tore up the tires yet.
when i go wheeling this truck sees its fair share of abuse, and takes it like a champ! last time it saw daylight under the tire a couple time

This weekend I tried pulling the stuck ball hitch out of the receiver by hooking it to a tree. After a particularly hard tug the transfer case came out of 4 low, and ground going back in. It does this every so often now and pops out too. Is the transfer case fubar or should I be looking at the linkage? It's a BW1354 manual shift

New update. I don't have a computer right now so the updates are few and far between.
Fixed the transfer case, put in f150 coils and did a home alignment. It tucks some nice 35" Mud Kings I bought cheap, but wait! 3.55 gears suck! Front diff is getting 4.56s installed now and when that's done and back in the truck, the trucks going over to get the rear done. Now I'm looking for a front lockrite to match the welded rear.

Ditched the lightbar in the pics above and got a roll bar with 4 lights for a hundo. I've benn tinking with different stuff, running without doors for awhile. I just found out a throttle cable is going to be $60! WTF!?
Soon I'm going to toss on a stock AC compressor and setup on board air. Anyone have any links to info on this compressors or ranger OBA setups?

I just found out a throttle cable is going to be $60! WTF!?

I found one for only $75 and ordered it...but I actually replaced the cable with a bicycle brake cable...so far it has lasted a month or more...and I just happened to have removed a brake cable from a girls bike the other day when she was tugging on it in front of a store...and I kept it as a spare...

You need to cut one of the ends of the cable and then thread it through from the engine side...then just clamp it with one of those mini clamps...or I'm sure you can figure something else out...

Unless, of course, you'd rather pay for a fancy new cable holder that contains a $2 cable...:)
