New Addition

So the wheels I bought fit just fine over the hubs, they just have 5" backspacing on 7" wheels. But think I just bought a set of 2" spacers locally, I take back everything bad I ever said about jeepers!!
The body lifts going on this weekend hopefully. Anyone have a list of the bolts needed for a 3" lift? That would sure make things go easier.

No list, but once you pull out your old bolts, just add 3" to that and bobsyeruncle.

Well I picked up the wheel spacers Sunday, and a buddy mounted my tires in trade of replacing the clutch line on his 85 ranger.
Saturday I got the body lift mostly done for the cab, but I still need to finish welding the core support mount back together, and tighten everything down. I'm going to be making extensions for the shifters in machine tool class.
The bed isn't lifted right now because I only had 6 lift blocks.
I need to get some 3" square steel tube to move it up.
No pics as I smashed my phone today after the touch screen died

got the new phone so new pics will be up shortly. this sucks only being able to work on it weekends.
anyone else have to look at their truck sitting in pieces everyday and get real ancy to work on it?
oh and can a mod move this to RBV Under Construction, thanks!

Weekend Update!
So I finished the body lift and added 1" coils spacers, ditched the sway bars, and threw the 33s on. the old man was egging me on so I had to run it threw the corn field

it was plowing through knee deep snow like a champ but with one weight on the back and spinning single track it did get stuck. the rears getting welded soon.
so i finished up the bed, i just used some pressure treated wood blocks for now. i might replace them later.

its still got a ways to go. tell me what you think

lookin' good! When's the fender chop/35's happening? :headbang:

When you send me 35s and 4.56 gears :icon_twisted: It's a dog with the 3.55s and 33s now haha

Naw, all the BII running gear is going under my Ranger and will be on 33's I think. I'll keep the 35's 'til I find a good deal on 38's.
Besides, you'll want at least 4.88 for 35's. Miscalculation on my part... haha.

It was worth a try! I want to go 35s sooner or later, but it will come with lower gears and a 3-4" long arm lift. The front fenders are nice at the moment, I'll wait until I bash them in before they get cut. I think....

My buddy is pissed that I'm bigger than his 95 F-250 no lift on 36s.

Alright, I'm convinced that I need to regear, but this is a budget truck. I would prefer the buy new 4.88s, but i priced it at $503. that's not gonna happen right now. Does anyone have some used or second hand gears for a Dana 35 or 8.8? Anything 4.10 or lower I could use if the price is right.

Yeah you like that too! Haha

I like how it coming along, but it still has a long way to go. Gotta go pick up the winch for it, and tie up ALOT of loose ends

So today I convinced myself that I don't need to regear yet. Just wheel it. A friend at work with a 95 sas ranger has been trying to convince me to solid axle it. Not in the budget. But today he offers me skyjacker ttb drop brackets... For free! No coils or radius arm drops, and they're buried under 2' of snow. But the price is right!
Now I'm thinking either use it as a 4" lift and keep the bl, or ditch the bl and go 6". I can find some jeep coils and build long arms and have a pretty decent rig. Oh the decisions....
What would you do?

4" coils, build long arms, sawzall.

I'm thinking 4" lift and keep the bl, at some point it will get a 302 haha
