im making a light bar, not a bumper Daniel LOL
anyway its paused. i havent had time to buy some materials and well. yeah its paused.
i want to finish it soo bad!

i already have a new proyect tho. some shackles to remove the rear blocks

Update

well i finally removed the front sway bar. so far im liking it.
i drove on a bumpy gravel road and it deff rides and handles bumps better(at least to me)
the suspension doesnt seem to push down the whole truck on holes and bumps.

ill drive it like this a few more days, and if it drives ok on pavement ill keep it this way.
i drove on a small ditch and it felt good that the truck didnt tipped the whole front end along with just a tire.

also removed the little C things that held the primary and secondary leafes together.
not completly removed, just cutted the tabs that held em together when the leafs flexed up or down. they still hold em from moving sideways
as soon as i did it the rear absorbs bumps a bit better too. and seems like the leafs have a bit more flex, since the primary leaf bends alone, instead of pulling the secondary one along.


ill test that too, and if i need to fix it, ill just make new C tabs.

as for the camo, im not 100% sure about it yet, its just a photo shop made by Hazmat Ranger

Finally some light bar work done

the base plate for the tubes

since bolting it on the bed from under it would be a complete pain, we came to this solution
we welded some washers to the nuts

then we drilled the bed and riveted the washers+ welded nuts on the bed

since its easier to take it off, as a safety device i decided to use atleast 2 allen type bolts.
i doubt someone will carry an allen wrench in the glove box to take off my light bar at any parking.

Nice work RSH - I like the progress on this so far. If you wanted even more security, order some security bolts that require a special fitting to install/remove. Then you can be sure that even less people would be carrying that specific fitting on the day they saw your awesome truck . . .

I started messing with MS paint and came up with this.
i still need to find an image or the rim with the correct size, so i dont have to enlarge it and it wont get blury. and it would be good that my damn mouse would follow a movement without shaking.

anyway i like the idea. i just need to make it happen now.
