no i dont think i did, last contact was them saying they haven't got any references checked yet and would get back to me. then nothing from them so i figured they dont want me.

my cousin got a job 3 months after his interview after he called. so it possibly cant hurt to call even if you dont get the job.

Yes. What are they going to do, not give you the job? It will also keep your name fresh if you didn't get the job and another one becomes available.

I lost a job one summer because it became a management trainee position. I kept in contact with them. I worked there the next 3 summers and Christmas breaks. I still use one of my old bosses as a personal reference. Communication is a good thing.

Interviewing high points;
Strong hand shake

eye contact (keep eye contact and if your uncomfortable with that, keep your eyes in an area between the eyes and chin. Never look below the persons chin)

Hygiene (clean combed hair, good breath (never EVER smoke before an interview) clean hands (clean, cut finger nails)

Confidence when answering questions (take a minimum of 3 seconds to think about all questions before you answer, make all things into a positive. Q "State a negative about yourself"
A "I take my job too seriously")

Respect ("yes sirs and no sirs", "Please and Thank you")

thanks for the encouragement and tips guys iv become pretty discouraged with being jobless and its starting to really wear on me, il be calling tomorrow and checking on some other leads
