project family wheeler. chop top 1 ton explorer.

boo. I'm keeping mine Auto. I may do the 700R4 swap though. A couple people on EF have 700s in their ex's and that 3.04:1 first gear kicks ass. Add a doubler to that, and it will crawl up a wall

Just took the time to read the whole thing from the begining... That thing is going to be SWEET!!

thanks man, heading out to the garage now to get some work done.

Yea but you also have to deal with a clutch. Which i REALLY don't want to deal with. After smoking my clutch in Moab, Ocatillo Wells, Corral Canyon, and everywhere else i have went wheeling, I have decided to part with the clutch. (Plus i have to use the bad leg to work the clutch)

Although that 6.69:1 is super kick ass, shifting and clutch working is not

im partial to the ole clutch pedal, id rather have the stick on the trails anyday....that is if i have a decent crawl. after watching bray D make me look stupid in the rock garden because of his doubler made me realize a decent crawl ratio is a must.

have you ever watched Kyles videos? Thats how i drive. lol

You know the chances of finding a 435 with a 460 already bolted to it are pretty good right?

Just sayin.

Would be fun, but then I would be looking for rockwells, the ole 4.0 has never let me down yet so I'll keep rocking it.

Speaking of the 4.0......

And threw some paint on the quart crate after welding up the corners to make it nice and stout.

The quart crate is ballin. I may have to get me one. All my fluids are just thrown in my toolbox at the moment.

thats why i bought one, i keep my fluids in some 50 cal. ammo boxes, to fit they have to lay on their sides. well when i pulled them out of the truck sure enough i opned them up and about an inch of oil or fluid in both of them.

i think it will be handy to keep it all in one spot.

How many quarts does it hold? Where did ya get it? I want one too.
