GROSS!!! :stop::nono:

i love the ranger platform, but it doesnt work for a family rig.

Me too. Although, if I end up destroying this body, I'm swapping an Explorer body with the 07 up front clip on it and cutting it like the maroon one up there.

get a Sport Trac cab....tube bed behind that....:D

it would need an exo, thats the only think i didnt like about wheeling the ex. it feels alot more top heavy but the chop woul take a little of that out.
Just put the cage in the cab, won't be as top heavy that way. Plenty of ways to chop the cab up as well, I have ALOT of pics of chopped up explorers I could post if you want, here are just a few.

however it gets chopped i want to be able to seal up, i like year round rigs.

The Maroon one is my favorite so far. That looks bad ass. MY buddy just did the same thing to his 78 Gmc Suburban

id go with the original pic slo vo posted with the stock hatch moved up to make a small bed. and an exo tb is hard on body panels from what ive seen. on fullwidth dana 60s its going to be a hell of a lot more stable then a stock ex. and on top of all that the ex is already apart! its perfect its already stripped and you have the axle sitting there

you can build the ex while dding the ranger and then sell the ranger afterwards

ive got a work truck to DD, so the faster the ranger sells the quicker the expo can be built

sounds like you made up your mind pretty quick! lol.

Post it on Pirate and here. Should be able to get 3 out of it easy

cough.....you know B2s have back seats....cough cough....

you know you want one

around 3 was what i was hoping for, that would give me some money to put into the ex.

still sticking with leaves if you do the ex?

depends, if i get enough out of the ranger i might just go ahead and go full 3 link.

but for the time being im just gunna say leaves.

Thanks for the fender pic. Looks pretty good man.

After seeing pics of the chopped Ex's, they look pretty sick. I'm sure you could pull it off. I don't think it'll be as light/nimble as your ranger is, but it'll hold your family without any issues. The short box will be just enough for your spare/cooler/camping gear/etc.

Actually, a 38" spare might take up the whole bed. lol
