2.9 Ford Headers Information

Careful.. they may be for a 2.8 ford.. I bought a set of pacesetter headers for my 2.9 ranger about a month ago. i noticed they DIDNT have bolt up flanges where the Y pipe connects to the headers. it thought it was weird because it was a really sloppy fit. :annoyed: anyways i got some muffler cement and a few clamps and did it that way. i notcied however the Heddman Headers for the 2.8 v6 HAD bolt on flanges for the y pipe. IMO there for a 2.8. unless another company make headers for 2.9 that the y pipe bolts onto. i thought pacesetter was the only 2.9 ones? Someone please correct me if im wrong.

i may be wrong but didnt the 2.8 have 2 exhaust ports side by side, not all 3 evenly spaced?

edit: youre right though, my truck doesnt have bolt on flanges either
