that link didnt work.

i tried searching for random '99 3.0 parts, but im only getting listings for 1 3.0. what is your exact search criteria?

ahh, i see what your talking about now.

im not sure what happened on 7/27/99 to split the motors...nothing that i know of. either way the longblocks are the same, so worst case would involve re-using your current sensors.

you can find your trucks manufacturing date on the door jam sticker.

not sure but i heard the heads after 2000 give a slight more compression. but again not sure. isnt the intake composite after a a certain year?

Do you know where i could call to find out the diffrence??
Thanks
Beef

I think it was 2001 that the intake changed to a composite material. Not sure on the year difference.

i figured out the '99 year split. up to 7/27/99, the 3.0 had 8mm valve stems...after that they went down to a 7mm stem with a conical spring and different retainers.

the combustion chamers are 49cc in all motors but the flex-fuel, which has 47cc chambers.

in '02 there was a slight change in the shape of the pistons which very slightly raised compression....very, very slightly.

i dont forsee any of these changes being out of your computers range to compensate for.

Wow I'm surprised the website picked that up. Good work sludge!
