to "try" to get a loan for a fox body....

its got a BUILT 351W with a 5 speed and its clean as hell....its sick. i seen it on my way home from work and locked up the brakes on the highway and had to go look at it.

the guy wants 4500 for it. im gonna offer 4000 for it. wish me luck cause i have sh*t for credit as im still paying off a loan i defaulted on a few years back but ive been paying regularly since i started my job.

yah it is, i was expecting a 5.0 badge but i had to double take when i seen the 351 badge. i was instantly in love with this car.

the 351 bade does look like a thunderbolt, way different than the 302 badge you posted.

Good luck, you'd probably have better luck getting a loan through a credit union. Also, I hope you're getting a personal loan cause most banks won't give an auto loan if the car is over 10 years old AND not going to be used for work/commute.

I know, I went through it when I got my fox in 2007

well i took her for a test rip yesterday and she is a BEAST....the engine is pretty built. 1st-4th possi burnout down the highway, with the owner IN the passenger seat.

i dont think i can get it though cause it doesnt book for 4000 i dont think.

Yeah, that's why bttlscrs00x suggested a "personal" or "signature" loan. I also agree that your chances are much better of getting the loan and at a better rate through a credit union.

I wouldn't take a loan out for a toy like that but....do what you wanna do. I always say you can afford what the checkbook balance says and nothing else.
