The "end of the age" is the end to the world system and the start of Christs reign on earth for 1000 years. The Bible says we will not know the "Day nor Hour"....Jesus also said you people read the signs in the skies to see what the weather will bring and yet you don't see the signs of the times. I learned a bit of info not long ago that seems to point to a general time frame. If you take the geneologies (the who begat who's) and compare them to history each generation comes out to 52 years. After Jesus spoke of the events of the end times...earthquakes in diverse places,wars, ect ect He said not one generation would pass until He returns. The clock started when Israel retook Jerusalem in 1967. If a generation is 52 years add that to 1967 and it comes to 2019,take from that the 7 years of the tribulation and it seems to point to the rapture happening in 2012. Note....that's a year time frame,not a date.

I've discovered over the years that the best way to tell if a preacher is lying.......is when he stops reading from the Bible & starts to speak on his own........at that point, things start going downhill rapidly....

I can't........but about 20 years ago, I did some ciphering using info in the Book of Daniel.....

I came up with the year 2012 way back then...now...after all that time has passed....there are still to many prophesies that must be fullfilled....so I'm settled that 2012 will be a world-changing year, but not the end (glad now I kept my mouth shut!)

You know DG, I don't think it's his call actually. It seems to me that the Father and the Father alone gets to make the call of when it's go-time. We Christians have a certain degree of control over the timing as well. The end cannot come until the Word has gone to every tribe, tongue, and nation. That hasn't happened yet.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAhaaaaaaa....somebody caught the Father-thing! Good going adsm-.........but me being "oneness"...I don't deal with the Trinity consulting each other...BUT....if I was 3-ness....I'd want Jesus to get the approval of his Father first....and verified by the witness of the Holy Spirit(can't leave Him out...seriously...no joking about things like this...I've heard many Catholics tell me how they feel badly because they forget to include the Holy Spirit in their prayers).
