My shifter fix didn't hold. Lol

I'll have to rezip tie... Too lazy now. I have no idea when this happened as I usually just shift n go with lever. On high going 55 found it funny so I'm sharing.

No the shifter is in drive it slid all the way to right. Park is now 2 lol. Now that's bad haha.

Just get a new PRNDL display. They aren't that expensive and real easy to put in.

when im on E, ive learned i still have about 1 1/2 gallons left. asdm08, dont know what a new PRND21 would do, i mean its the cable underneath loose, i zip tied it tight once but i guess the ties snapped so gotta make it better. and i used 3 too, one to hold it and 2 to support that one tie incase. which apparently wasnt enough.
its a never ending battle of getting my truck up to standard. hopefully the 4 days my wifes on vaca with my son i can get alot of work done.

Well, if I understand your issue properly, its the brown nylon cable that broke, right?

The new display comes with that cable.

truthfully ive been to lazy to check. the white plastic clip that holds shifter in place and that you can tighten loosen to align shift ding a ling, i was thinkin that snapped. to think of it your probably right with that might of snapped cause it is way too far over to the right to be a simple loose clip... ill be mad haha. almost as mad and wishing i seen the prick who took the top of my mountaineer center console before i could go back and rip out the complete unit... why do people only take the top cover i swear im gonna go to a salvage yard one day and sidekick some dude in the chest when i see him just carrying the top cover to center console... anyways... ya that would suuuuuck if it was the retention strap thingy...

ya thats why ive been lazy... im more into finding my center console(with a friggin top!!!). damn jew salvagers. i swear some prick is driving around taking only tops... i got crappy steel bumpers for a reason.
