Hey guys i just bought my first ranger its an 88 xlt 4x4 V6. Looks like im def gonna enjoy the site. I may have questions time to time as my only othe ford ive owned is my 85 mustang but it looks like im in the right place . Me and the truck are from the woodland hell known as new hampshire lmao

sorry took so long been working tons here are a few shots of the truck

side view disregard the vw's lmao yes the eggplant colored ne was used for mudding (sore spot)

yay peeling paint lmao but the bright-work isnt rotted out

now here it looks like a previous owner added an extra lifting block to each side whats your guys opinion?

its been too rainy this week to check hopefully I will get to look tomorrow and snap some pics its really funny watching my little sister try to get in Im 6 foot and need to take a huge step up. I figured for a 500 buck truck its actually pretty decent no frame rot which is rare up here lol

just by looking around I can already tell you all are my kind of people the purple bugs "friend" who was named franz the thunder pumpkin (screaming orange bug) was the demise of my exhaust system on my old dakota

500 bucks NICE! I miss my first gen. You got a damn good deal if you ask me. The 4x4s frames seem to last longer, I've always had bad frames on all my 2wds. But my last 4x4 was in awesome shape under it. I almost didn't know what to do when I had 6 full body mounts. LOL!

thanks yeah I was surprise to look underneath and see the frame was complete no holes (unlike a certain grand cherokee) the guy I bought it from was 66 the state took his license cuz his eyes so he just wanted it gne he bought it from a guy my age interiors still clean and no rips again rare for a 23 year old truck lol.

Nice, You just need some nice wheels and tires and you'll be set. I bet you can get some 32s under it. I had 32s under mine and it only had a 3 inch body lift with no rubbing.

nice truck I def want a brush guard and light bar at some point I got 5 extra tires with it a full set of new studded snows and then tires that I think belong on a civic the match the little summer tires that are on the front right now I so good tires are next on my list after making sure it passes inspection I think Im def gonna have some fun with this truck Im trying to decide if I wanna play in sand or the woods first
