Swap the whole axle. It is much faster being just swapping gears requires special tools and lots of time.

x2

Just swap the entire axles.

With the front, you can just swap the pig. As long as they are both the same. (D28 vs D35)

sounds good on the front i kno what u mean on that but the rear i got it mostly apart now im gonna try and finish it like that if it dont work out ill just put it back together and swap them how hard is the front?

If you don't know what you are doing, swap axles. It'll be quicker and cheaper in the long run

ya swapping gears requires lots of time work, and tools.
swapping axles will take way less time.

thanks now about the front can i just drop the housing like unbolt it then swap em out it that harder then takin the hole thing out?

I prefer to pull the drivers beam out and put it on the ground to remove the pig, I've had the beam out and pig removed in an hour by myself.

ok well i gotta do it twice so i should be good at it the 2nd time haha i got the rear axle out and in the shop right now gonna clean it up and paint it then next week gonna drop out the front and swap them im guessin the front is alot easyer?

the front is pretty easy. take the drivers
side shaft out, unbolt the carrier, pull it
back, unhook the pass side shaft, pull
the pumpkin off the shaft.
you have to do all that to change the
gears anyway.
the rear is quick with a good impact wrench.
