So i have a 1986 ford ranger 4 wd 2.9 v6 lifted and went to the dealership just for fun. They told me they would give me 4,500.00 but i left. I would like to get the 2010 Chevy Camaro yeah i know its a Chevy but that thing is a beaut. Mom dad friends and family said to do it but I couldn't think of my ranger getting destroyed after all the good times so im staying with it. I'll just have to wait, so has anybody used cash for clunkers or thought about it? I know right now they still have to pass it but would you? Yes I know a lot of you are pissed and there is a thread about it but i just want to know if anyone has used or knows of anybody that has it and how it went. Thanks!

Heres my baby.

i would shoot you if you did that.......that ranger is so much better than a camero

my neighbor traded in his full size chevy for a jeep compass. i guess the dealer doubled his rebate too so he got something like 9k off the price. he's happy...

I heard again that they have stopped the cash for clunker program. Senate did not pass the bill for the additional money. They also say that they need to catch up on the paper work.

If you trade that truck in for clunckers then you should be banned from TRS. Just too clean of a truck

Is the fuel economy on the Camaro good enough to get you the $4500?

My parents have thrown around the notion of turning in the '94 Explorer (after I take what I want) for a new Edge. I have been trying to convice them that a FWD anything won't get out of our driveway in the winter though.

The plan was mom did that for a new rig, then dad trades in the '02 Explorer to get a pickup that is newer than his '92 GMC.

That tan first generation has a long way to go before it should be crusher bait... way too clean.

I would think even the guy running the crusher would cry! Lots of good rides going to be gone.

my dad is in the process of trading in my brothers beat to hell grand cherokee for a patriot. his car really is a clunker though. it cant even stay running most of the time and is rusted everywhere. chrysler doubles the government rebates. we will see though if he gets it since they have put the program on hold.

It sure doesn't look like it, right from the Cheby site. I'm even guessing with the top of the line, you'd have to pay the gas guzzler tax.

we traded in my wife's dodge mini van for a 2010 Fusion. You talk about a nice car, this thing is sweet.
