after about a year i blew both head gaskets and fried the auto overdrive trans. so the teardown began

sweet...i love no lift 35 in tire trucks...matts was killer.:headbang:

you gonna still try to stay low as possible? how bout a 4.0? or are you going to scream the 2.8?

after getting the full width dana 44 under it i found out the frame was bent on both side infront of the cab. so i cut stock frame rails off and built my own out of 2"x5" .188 wall tube.

? how did you shoe horn the straight six in that truck? Is the ingine compartment long enough for that or did you have to lenghten the nose?

the 300 fit with just a little firewall beating. the radiator is goin to be mounted to the roll bar in the bed. the whole thing is goin to be JD green and yellow but i just havnt had the time to paint it yet

when i made the new front frame rails i made them to be the same width as a 79 f-150 for ease of mounting the radius arms, motor mounts, and steering box

i like it:icon_thumby:

i was thinking of plate mounting a carb like that on a bellows that was adjustable so startups on angles would be easy...with two cables for fore/aft side/side...i started working on it some time ago when rusty was thinkin of droppin a 300 in a rbv...that way you could ruin a lil more carb with the mid clifford cam.

he is gonna love this rig:icon_rofl:

I do love this rig.

Probely the most bad ass rig ive seen on here.....LOVE to see it in action!

Makes me wanna revive my 300/RBV project.

later,
Dustin
