Foxracin, can you get to your cap ok?

As far as fan shroud you could go to a lumber yard and get some alluminum used for facia.

Yea, its real easy to get to. I just had to cut the little notch in the top of the core support. It turned out pretty good I thought.

thats pretty cool how you set that up . mine is 4wd mostly tail rig some street time .and i am worried about body flex .so i want to keep the top and bottom tied together . i am rethinking my plan know looking at your set up, i am interested in how you are mounting the center of you grill because ill bee running a remote tranny cool an b+m typ for dirt track racing so it takes up lots of space iam also using a rad from a late 80s s10 its 17 inches tall and fit on top of frame and comes up flush to top of support, ill get some pics up later .( the s10 blazer i got the rad out of is a retired RCMP or cop car my buddy bought for it the 4 11 LS rear end and matching front diff .and this thing had a 3 core rad its the biggest small rad i have ever seen thanxs for the pics foxracing

I just use the screws across the top of the grill and the 2 behind the blinkers. It holds it in place just fine. If you need some more pics and let me know and I can get some.

Is that just a 2 row Explorer radiator? Our builds are pretty similar, I was just curious on how well it kept things cool, since that's what I currently have..

Pete

Yep, just the standard 2 row out of a 91-94 4.0 Exploder. It gets the hob done and I dont have any overheating problems at all.

What all do you have planned for you build.

Right now I just have a long block together, it's a 306 that's crank and rod balanced with TRW forged pistons. It's just going to be a street engine. GT40 heads w/ honeycomb valve springs, 1.6:1 Crane roller rockers. New roller lifters and push rods. ARP head bolts and rod bolts. Crank has been turned and polished. B303 cam. Everything was magnafluxed at the shop - block, heads, and crankshaft. Also w/ a Typhoon dual plane high rise polished intake. 600cfm holley carb. Going to run the duraspark / HEI ignition until I get enough to swap over to EFI. It's getting there, but I am still pretty far from being done. Just need a bunch of odds and ends..

It's been put on "high priority" since my 2.9L crapped out on me. :)

Sounds pretty nice.

Yea pretty much the same as mine. Mines just a stock shortblock just refreshed, gt40p heads with the honeycomb springs, comp 1.7 roller rockers, b cam, weiand stealth intake, holely 650 dp, msd ignition.

I trimmed the top instead.

this is my set up built a rod to get around tranny cooler to hold valance. moved rad forward and down. punched 6 holes in bottom of rad support ,2inchs of rad would never have seen otherwise.thats my old rad using for mock up 3 core aluminum on its way.

I like what you have done there. What are you using for your tranny cooler?
