My 3rd brake light /cargo light lets water into the cab when it rains... anyone know who might sell a new seal for it? or should i just use some silicone?

Mine use to leak also, I just put some silicone around it and it hasn't leaked since.

Just put some silicone on it.

Silicone... Works like a charm.

+1 on silicone. Although should I be worried about accidentally peeling paint off when I remove the light?

It shouldn't pull the paint off. The bulbs usually last a while. more than likely the silicone will need replacing before the bulbs.

I know this post is old but we don't get alot of rain here so i didnt know if it was fixed or not until yesterday when a small storm came our way. Turns out it wasn't the third brake light at all but the rear window seal. used some of that goop they use to seal motorhome roofs and it sealed it up and was leak free in an hour.
