After 6 months of searching I'm the proud owner of '84 Broncoll 4WD 2.8l manual.
After another few months I have '87 4D55 with transmission and transfer case from crashed Ranger.
Now let's the fun begin. Fun? Not so easy! I'm so confused it isn't funny anymore. First of all from what I've read '87 should not have an intercooler, mine had one. It doesn't have a starter so I'm lost for what starter I should be looking for. I'm trying without success to find when and where my engine was made. The markings are: 4D55 and BC 5355. It has turbo with waste gate.
I would really appreciate any feedback.
