Update: I ran a vacuum line from the manifold to the egr ,n nothing happened . Increased vacuum - still nothing . Engine vacuum low now(14)steady. Had been 16-18 . Cant figure. Nothing been wrong with it till now. Please someone , HELP!!!!

Reads like diaphragm in EGR valve is bad.

With full vacuum(engine idling is full vacuum) the EGR valve should open and engine should run rough and usually stall.

So if you ran a new vacuum line directly to the EGR valve and engine didn't stall AND your vacuum is down(from other thread) then it all equals EGR has a leak
