Ive been creepin' around the forums for a few days now and finally decided to make an account and ask some questions. I've had my license for a few months and I've been looking for a truck that I can use as a daily driver, but I need something capable of some mild wheelin', and the Ranger seem to fit the bill.

Im looking for a good 4x4 that will be used mostly as a daily driver, but will see mild trail use along with trips to Tahoe in the winter. I wanted to get some opinions about this truck I found on craigslist, its a 2001 Edge 4x4. Any thoughts?
Heres a link: http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/ctd/2669857844.html

Thanks!

Better tires would be a must on a truck you intend to wheel in. Just my opinion.

Yeah but you've got to have a truck to put those tires on in the first place! :D But seriously, your right. Although those would be staying on there for a while, cause I'm a full time student, and I don't have a job right now.
I'm trying to see if my Dad will take me up to see it tomorrow... we will see...

First and foremost most welcome to TRS. This is our little slice of Ranger heaven on the internet.

I would buy it, change the tires and drive the crap out of it. I love my Edge. Mine is bare bones but I have a V8 now so that makes up for creature comforts.

Well.............looks like you gotta buy it!!!!!!!!!!!

Vanillorama!!!!

I mean yes. Buy it.

Damn I'm really jealous of that one, its 4wd and has the 4.0, which is what I wish my truck had

Sounds like a good deal, that's about what my brother paid for his edge. His had low mileage though. But then again he got a really good deal.

Looks really good. id get it in no time
Rangers are really reliable and tough trucks.

sont worry for the tires, those will do for now, they seem to have plenty thread, and with 4wd they will have to do the job.

That sucks man. Sorry about your luck.

I think the price is to high for the mileage on the '94. Maybe if it was like $3,000 or even lower. I got my '98 with 125,000 for $3,000. It looks other than that though.
