ok, so i finally got a second vehicle (jeep cherokee) so now im going to be using the money i saved for my build. i think this project may take a few months because i only have time to work on it on weekends as of right now.
so far I HAVE :

dana 44 and 9 inch from a 79 f150
wildhorses 5.5 coilsprings
7* bushings
f250 shock mounts
ballistic joints and tube for radius arms
37" super swamper iroks with rims

I NEED :
5:13 gears and lockers (i think ill go with aussies or similair) overhaul kits
u joints for drivelines, not sure wich ones
shocks
brakeline parts
and im sure im forgeting a lot more if anyone has suggestions or insight im all ears.

i plan on using my ranger drag link connected to the f150 tierod
i think i will fab my own track bar mounts, as well as the crossmember for the radius arms.
i also want to move the frontend forward several inches, and i think im going to space the f150 coil buckets two inches out from the frame.
eventually i want to go with ctm u joints and chromemoly axle shafts, but i will wait till i break the stock ones first.

heres my parts truck i bought running with title for $300 then sold parts off of it and got like $500 back and made a trailer out of rest.

to be honest i havnt finished it yet, but i know its going to be good because my frind whos made probably a dozen of them is helping me, i still need to buy the trailer axle. but ill post pics when im done. now ill just need to find a new vehicle to use when i get firewood, maybe ill get a tow rig, but thats a lot of money, and my truck will still be street legal, maybe if i dicide to 4 link it and get some dana 60s ill need a tow rig.

heres some of the parts i bought
5.5 inch lift rock crawler coils wildhorses 2,63 ballistic fab heim joints and wildhorses 7 * bushings

You will love those Iroks, I loved mine...How much did those Wild horses coils run you?? Also, instead of buying an axle for your new trailer, why not use the old Mazda axle since you wont be using it anymore?? It'd save you a couple bucks from buying one since you already have one:icon_thumby:

wildhorse coils were like $170 i think,i cant quite remember right now. thats a good idea. with the mazda axle, but i think it would probably be a little narrow, but i allready bought another 9 inch for 150 just because it would bolt right back under and i could also use it for spare parts later if i needed to

I'm trying to decide which coils to go with on my setup, BC Bronco, SJ, or Wild Horses...I'm wantin a superflexy soft coil...
SVT

i used to like the cage progressive rate coils but they just went out of bussuness, you want something thats progressive rate or says rock crawler if you want lots of flex, i think skyjacker would probably be stiff, but i have read a lot of peoples builds who used the wild horses and have seen pics of them flexing, and they do really well.

I seen a pic of the progressive and I didn't like the way they sat, neither did the guy who had them, and he changed them for the BC Bronco's...I have another detail with mine, I need as tall of a coil that I can get, BC has a 7" EB, SJ has at least a 7" EB(tho I haven't checked their site yet for the tallest) and with the EB coils I can add another 2-3"...I'm planning for some super stupid flex for my rig, as I have had a few encounters at my local trails I want to conquer...
SVT

Thats one got decent flex, about half of what I want (maybe I'm unreasonable, I know I'm crazy!), he's got the cage arms, I've heard a couple people don't like em, but I'm getting ideas for my setup with every rig I look at....I try to find the "weak points" with other's rigs, and improve on their limitations...I'm getting some great ideas from ya'll though:icon_thumby:

flex is overrated. all you need is spools/lockers. front and rear.

...quick question. What are you doing with the Skyjacker radius arms?!
