I got a 2013 Silverado 1500 with 20x12 hostiles and 33x12.50 Maxxis Rzrs, plus a straight piped 5.3. So, you can kind of see my dilemma with gas milage. I'll be driving it on paved roads daily ~10 miles once I move to Missouri.

From what you quoted from the tech section, it seems like it would be quite a bit more money to get it rebuilt, upgrade the converter, upgrade the bands, clutches etc, just to get the reliability and performance some may want. For what I'm going for I'm not looking to push power or do any crazy...
