Your Home town

My hometown has the University of Delaware. More specifically, the University of Delaware GIRLS. They're about the only thing making this town roadtrip worthy :)

Avon, IN

When I was growing up it was corn fields and a couple stops. We have pretty good youth athletic programs, a haunted bridge, a nice park and a couple nice golf courses.

Now days:
It has turned into a stuck up small town. HS students have to have the latest iPhone or Blackberry. Basically everything it was not when I was growing up. They still have all the big things but they have more stop lights than anything. I sat through the same light 6 times. Then I went to take a short cut that should have been there but of course it was not. I miss the town I grew up in and not what it has become.

THIS is the only reason to come to Cherry Hill, NJ- other than that we have nothing :(, however, I am not far from Delaware!!!:yahoo:

lawndale, il is my homevillage, everything fun and exciting to do involves trespassing. just for kicks and giggles the list goes something like this: jump off the railroad bridge into the creek (its crick around these parts,) hop on a four wheeler and trailblaze through the timber, burn things, deer hunting with a 6000# 4 wheeled bullet. i think that's about it.

I have always wanted to go to eastern Tenn. I hear it's beautiful. I think this summer I'm gonna take a vacation down there. Probably visit Roanoke, VA. then hed down to like Boone, NC. then over to Knoxville. Gotta find some nice land so I can move out of CT.

land is cheap around here expecially if you live in the areas around knoxville and not in knoxville.

Stone Mtn. is cool, been there a few times. I like the lazer show in the summer and the fireworks.

Florence, Co: The only reason to come here is if you have family or friends locked up in the Federal Prison. Other than that no reason to come here.

Don't get too excited, the only reason girls at the university look like that is because they're from different states. :icon_rofl:

Oregon is the state,,,

And well Sodaville is the community, actually Lebanon. There is pretty much alot to do around here if you dont mind driving to the mountains for a little snow skiing http://www.mtbachelor.com/winter/index.html.

If you are in or around South Eastern/ South Central Oregon along hwy 97 the most Beautiful natural wonder I have ever laid eyes on myself
http://www.crater.lake.national-park.com/

If you happen to be in the Salem Oregon area or a scratch to the east there is Silverton, and Silver Creek Falls http://www.great-oregon-vacations.com/silver-creek-falls.html http://www.oregonstateparks.org/park_211.php On You Tube there is a video by country singer Clay Walker called "FALL" that was filmed at the Silver Creek Falls. Just a bit of trivia.

Of course Oregon is known well for the Oregon Coast. There are many places with beach access and atv riding. Florence to the south, Sand Lake up just past Lincoln City about the central coast. http://images.search.yahoo.com/search/images?_adv_prop=image&fr=chr-tyc8&va=oregon+coast&sz=all

If you happen to be in the Columbia Gorge east of Portland, There is also Multnoma Falls. http://images.search.yahoo.com/search/images?_adv_prop=image&fr=chr-tyc8&va=multnomah+falls http://www.multnomahfallslodge.com/.

In the Willamette Valley where I live there are lakes and rivers all over, we gotta do something with all the rain we get, so we dug ditches for it to drain off, BIG DITCHES. http://images.search.yahoo.com/search/images?_adv_prop=image&fr=chr-tyc8&va=green+peter+reservoir http://www.coastangler.com/kokanee/green.html and down the road aways there is http://detroitlakeoregon.org/.

If you feel like playing in the snow again or still there is HooDoo Ski Bowl about 80 miles from where I live. http://www.hoodoo.com/ ...

If your in the south of the state around Grants Pass just along I-5 there is always the exciting getting wet in the water http://video.search.yahoo.com/search/video?p=rouge+river+jet+boat+excursions

Well I think I covered about all aspects of the state, or at least the different areas, and the very beautiful things to see. Oh right next door (about 10 miles) to where I live is where parts of the movie "Stand By Me" was filmed. If you remember the movie "Bandits" with Bruce Willis and Billy Bob Thornton, They start off breaking out of the Oregon State Pen. and go from there to Silverton where the Silver creek falls. Anyway just more trivial trivia. I hope this post will at least get a few positive comments for Oregon. Its beautiful here.

Oh I forgot the U of O Ducks and the OSU Beavers,, Or should I just say the females that populate the schools...

Current town: Portland, Maine. TONS of stuff to do here. Food, Beer, Arts, Off roading, tons of lakes and islands, boating, etc.

Past town: Las Vegas, Nevada. Need I say more?

Home town: Bayville, NY. Look it up. Great summer town, but everyone knows everyones business. It's different now than when I was growing up. I get sad/pissed when I go there now...
