you own anything rare?

What do I own that's rare? Common sense.

In all seriousness, a 1948 Farmall Super A and a 1972 Olds Cutlass Supreme. There's all kinds of other junk lying around that's unmistakably rare, but nothing of much interested to others.

just remembered,
Tonight my dad gave me one of his old leather jackets,
Its a 1970, and its in MINT shape, the price tag is still on it, $500.00!!

cool. That jacket is one year older than me.

oh btw... don't let your brother borrow it;missingteeth;

Rare huh? Well the LJ20 (fordzuki) is pretty rare. I also have the owners manual, parts catalog, and service manual for it.
The original owners manual, plastic sleeve, and business card from the salesman of my 73 Datsun pickup.
1947 and 1951 Flat Rate Manuals from automotive digest.
And probably the best, Willie Nelsons autograph, with a picture of him in a 50 cent (the rapper)hat. :icon_rofl:

I have quite a few rare things, from rare coins (I have a penny worth well over $50), to a factory Ford Mini Disc player that was only available on the dealer promo 1994 Mustang with premium sound system, there were only 100 of these units made. I have some manufactured mistakes in some rare diecast cars too. A black (most were that teal color, or red) 1957 Corvette where the interior tub is wrinkled, and a 1994 Dodge Ram with a bowed rear axle, with no bend marks and its metal, you can even see where the paint has run in some areas because of the bow. I have tonnes of rarities at my house, its just how rare it is to some people, thats the question.

A factory 4.10 D35 and a manual 1354, that's about it.

1975 Chevy Nova SS
4 barrel 350, 4 on the floor.

Civil war sword given to a direct relative(ie a great great great great grandfather), a Union Captain. It's engraved "To Captain N B Skinner". Never knew what that meant until Ancestry.com had a free trial years ago and I found a Nathaniel B Skinner in the line who had served in the Civil war. Given to oldest son to oldest son. However, I am not the oldest son so one day my brother will ultimately keep it. Seems to get passed down upon death and thank lord my dad is still alive and hopefully will be for years to come. Nevertheless I find it amazing to look at. Looks relatively new still.
Other than that, a LOAD of rusty antique tools, i'm guessing farming tools of some sort that I'll never know exactly what they are. LAstly, a solid silver Gallion belt buckle that I still wear daily.

Nothing extemely rare, a Marlin Model 99, a Remington Sportsmaster 512X, and a 1967 Nissan Silvia remote control car in it's orginal box. Only stuff that comes to mind.

1970 Porsche 914/6 roadster, targa top, with a rare factory paint code (silver metallic) and 5 even rarer factory option fully magnesium Mahle wheels. Each wheel is about $700 each @ 7 lbs. It had the Porsche 911S flat 6 cylinder with the limited dual Weber, triple-throat carbs. Completely magnesium block and completely magnesium tranny with a mid engine configuration.

My current money pit! :bad:
