If Jim wants to remove me as a moderator, that's his choice, not yours. However, since we live in a democratic society, feel free to start a petition if you like.

I support this site, but I do not support Top 4x4 Site, and I wouldn't even if it were mandatory. Furthermore, there are more ways to support this site than voting at that site.

I don't believe it was ever a requirement of the site owner that members, especially those of the staff here, vote daily. I am pretty sure he politely requested it.

I don't get why anyone would even care about Top 4X4 Sites.

Do a Google search for various truck terms, (e.g. ford trucks, 4x4 trucks, truck, etc.) and I doubt you'll see that site listed on the first page.

Have we seen an spike in new members or traffic since TRS has been listed there?

If not, what's the point? I think we're (not me, I don't vote) just supporting their advertising scheme.

Sitting here with nothing to do, I decided in all fainess to do the google search you suggested.
Results:

The terms you listed showed no results.
4x4 = site listed 8th.
4x4 off road = no result
4x4 off road trucks = site listed 9th.
4x4 off road sites = site listed 2nd and 3rd.
4x4 sites = site listed 1st and 2nd.
4x4 ranger = TRS listed 1st.
The point being, more exposure means more visits, more visits means more possible members, the more members the better TRS is. Even if it does help their advertising scheme it helps TRS more.

I never wanted anything to do with the Top 4x4. RandyM suggested we do it to get the site more exposure. People had been pretty involved in it this month so I've been watching it to so how we're doing.
