Hello

First time posting on here. But I'm having some trouble finding a y pipe for my 1995 2wd extended cab truck. Is there a y pipe from any other year ranger or different motor that will bolt up to my 4.0 OHV?

Does your y-pipe have catalytic converters in it? If it does, that is your availability problem. If it does have the cats in it, you do not want to know how much it would cost if you could find one. What is wrong with the old y-pipe?

95 should have converters after the y-pipe. And 2 O2 sensors right at the ends of the manifolds. I'm looking for a part number now. I found them when I was looking for my replacement with a single O2 sensor just before the converters.

EDIT:
AP 93102 or Walker 50206 should be workable. I can't be certain of the clocking of the y-pipe to converter flange. They use the same gasket from 88 up. I know the 88 2.9 y-pipe bolts to 4.0 manifolds from 95 and uses that flange. It's what I'm running right now.

Edit Again:

It looks like by 96 Ford had upped the pipe size to 2.5 inch. So I guess 95 is an odd year where it could have 2in or 2.5in y-pipe. The flange is the same shape regardless. I wonder if this means a 96+ y-pipe (Walker 50207) would still bolt in? Or if the aftermarket is getting things mixed up with the SOHC?

I’m not certain it will fit a 4L, somebody else might know.
