cutting thru the woods(side roads)one day,i passed brown field and saw plane wreckage thinking it was real.fire engine(vintage)choppers hovering,rubber neckers,etc..called home to see if it was on the news,tuned in local news,nothing,nada.

they were filming "we are marshall"i found out later.vintage fire truck should have tipped me off.looked pretty real at the time.

yup, half the kids at my school were in the movie at the football games in the crowd it was filmed not far from here.

and for the best stuff filmed here, would be Dukes of Hazzard and Smokey and the Bandit, nearly all of smokey and the bandit was filmed in this area, even when there supposedly in texarcounty texas, there filming down the road from my old church. by the railroad tracks, and the scene when hes running from teh cops at night and pulls inbetween the buildings and winks at the camera is just a few miles from here

where in new jersey have you guys been hahaha 80s haircuts yeah right i live in the jersey shore and its a beautiful and modern area to live and all the girls are walking around in swimsuits this time of the year i havent seen one 80s haircut yet unless your checking out middle aged women then it doesnt matter where you live they are all 80s style. all of jersey is beautiful you have all types of nature just anything north close to the city is trash. i love jersey i wouldnt live anywhere else. anyway down the street from my house is an ice rink where they filmed that kevin smith movie with ben affleck Chasing Amy there was a scene outside of it and then inside with our towns high school playing hockey

An upcoming Johnny Depp movie (Public Enemies, about John Dillinger) had part of it filmed about 30 miles from my house at the Little Bohemia restaurant, where Dillinger had a shootout with the police. The restaurant still has all of the original bullet holes in the walls.

On the Travel Channel show, Cash and Treasures, they were in Houghton where I went to college.

Side note on Dillinger. My dads friend that he graduated high school with, his grandpa was killed by John Dillinger. His wife's great uncle is John Dillinger
